Coffeeshop shooting in Yiolou

Shots were fired outside a coffeeshop in Yiolou, Paphos, in the early hours of Saturday, damaging a window and a car windshield. No one was reported to be hurt.

Police said a complaint by the 42-year-old owner of the coffeeshop was received at around 3.20am on Saturday.

At the time of the shooting, the owner was inside the coffeeshop with two other people, aged 23 and 22.

The scene was cordoned off and bullet cases found outside the coffeeshop were removed by the police for further investigation.

The shots damaged a coffeeshop window and the windshield of the 42-year-old’s car.

Police are continuing investigations.
