Jharkhand IAS officer among 7 booked in Chhattisgarh liquor 'scam'

Chhattisgarh's Anti-Corruption Bureau has lodged an FIR against seven individuals, including IAS officers from Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, for allegedly causing significant financial losses by altering Jharkhand's liquor policy. The accused formed a syndicate to manipulate tendering norms and earn illegal commissions through fraudulent activities between 2022 and 2023.
