Dhanraj Nathwani, known for his close ties with the Ambani family, is a trusted confidant playing a significant role behind the scenes. Last year, he broke the news of Akash Ambani, billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s elder son, and his wife Shloka Mehta welcoming their second child Veda Akash Ambani, to the world. Dhanraj Nathwani, who is the son of Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani, took to Twitter to congratulate the couple and extend his heartfelt wishes to the Ambani family. Akash Ambani, who oversees Reliance Jio, and his wife Shloka Mehta have two children, including their first son, Prithvi Ambani, whose birth was first announced by Dhanraj’s father Parimal Nathwani in 2020. Anant Ambani, the youngest of Mukesh Ambani’s children, is responsible for Reliance New Energy Solar, where Dhanraj Nathwani also plays a role as a director. Nathwani, now 37 years old, is well-regarded as one of the closest confidants of Mukesh Ambani and his family.

Dhanraj Nathwani is a trusted associate of the Ambani family, known for his close friendship with Isha, Akash, and Anant Ambani. He currently holds multiple senior positions within Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, including serving as Group President, Director at Reliance New Energy Limited, and Director at Reliance Projects & Property Management Services Limited.
He oversees various aspects of the company’s manufacturing division in Jamnagar, managing non-technical areas such as finance, procurement, human resources, IT, security, and CSR activities.
Dhanraj, who studied at Regent Business School in London and resides in Mumbai, is also actively involved in several public roles. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Dwarkadhish Temple Administrative Committee, President of the Jamnagar Football Association, and Vice President (currently serving as President in charge) of the Gujarat Cricket Association.
Additionally, Nathwani is the son of Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani, who also serves as Director of Corporate Affairs at Reliance Industries.
