Editorial: Leave Springfield alone

Just when the fallout for Springfield, Ohio, from the absurd claim made by Donald Trump during the presidential debate — that Haitian immigrants in the city were eating the residents’ cats and dogs — was starting to subside, a new piece of negative news has arrived that doesn’t help Springfield any more than Trump’s remark did.
