Batman Villains Bane & Deathstroke to Get New Movie, Tom Hardy Seemingly Not Attached

Tom Hardy rose to fame while playing Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and now the iconic villain will be getting a new movie, but it doesn’t appear the actor is attached.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that DC Studios is developing a new movie centering on Batman villains Bane and Deathstroke.

The movie is being written by Matthew Orton, who most recently wrote the screenplay for the upcoming Marvel Studios film Captain America: Brave New World. No director is currently attached to the project.

No casting has been announced for the potential project and it seems Tom is not attached to the film.

Joe Manganiello previously had been cast as Deathstroke for Ben Affleck‘s potential solo Batman movie, but the film never came to fruition. He ended up having an uncredited cameo in Justice League.
