Can't wait for Prime Day? These are the week's hottest deals you can shop now

Sales are starting to ramp up as we get closer to Amazon Prime Day and Walmart's October Deals Event. You can expect major early Black Friday markdowns during those events, but if your wallet is starting to feel a bit itchy, you can scratch all you like with some of the best deals of the week from Kate Spade, Nectar Mattress, and—of course—Amazon.

Apple products have been wildly discounted over the past few days, like the 2021 9th Generation Apple iPad, which is a whopping 40% off this week (down to just $199). This model is just as powerful as the brand's latest model at a fraction of the price. My 64-year-old mother uses her iPad every single day for checking emails, reading recipes, watching videos, and playing Candy Crush. She loves how large the screen is (it's 10.2 inches, so a little smaller than a paper notebook) and how easy it is to navigate.
