So if you’re looking to give your wardrobe an upgrade and want something that’s super trendy, then you’ve come to the right place.

Burgundy is the ‘it’ colour for Autumn 2024 – it was prominent in the Autumn/Winter collections of Gucci, Miu Miu, and Saint Laurent, and has now flooded the high-street, seen in everything from leather jackets and dresses to gorgeous accessories.

It’s a versatile shade that suits many skin tones and hair colours and is great for adding a subtle pop of colour to an otherwise dark and gloomy day.

So it’s no surprise that fashion fans are scrambling to get to their nearest Tesco store, eager to get their hands on the latest co-ord.

The new two piece loungewear set is incredibly versatile – while it can be dressed up for a night out with the girls, it’s equally as great for lounging on the sofa too.

Tesco took to social media to give shoppers a close-up look at the new set – the long-sleeved off-the-shoulder top which pairs perfectly with the wide-leg trousers.

Influencer Kat Dodd modelled the new F&F co-ord, which she claimed “is giving Zara vibes”.

The much-loved supermarket, which is now increasingly more popular for its clothing range as well as its affordable groceries, penned: “Burgundy is everywhere, and our viral co-ord will keep you looking stylish and on trend for just £28.”

Not only this, but for those looking to save cash where possible, you’re in luck, as thankfully, there’s an epic discount starting today.

The chain added: “Even better, we have 25% off all clothing in store from today!”

Kat wore the top and trousers in a size small, and confirmed that each were £14 each, making the set cost just £28 in total.

The Instagram clip, which was shared on the official @fandfclothing account, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 277,000 views in just 24 hours.

Fabulous Fashion Editor On Autumn Trends

WANT to look fabulous this season? Then listen up...

Here, Fabulous’ fashion editor, Clemmie Fieldsend, says these are the top 5 trends from the hottest catwalk designers for autumn 2024.

BOHO: The boho revival is a much needed breath of fresh air for autumn and means you can wear your sheer tops, girly frocks and big jeans with heavy duty boots.

But if the clothes aren’t for you think, big accessories like slouchy tote bags, big earrings and bigger bangles.

TEXTURE: Be it smooth leather, sumptuous faux fur or soft suede, textures are everywhere this season.

They add depth to your look, making you stand out as well as look more expensive.

BURGUNDY: Maroon, oxblood, berry- whatever you choose to call it fashion is seeing red this autumn.

The deep and rich colour is everywhere and works best with greys, black, dark blues and in head-to-toe.

LADY LIKE: Matching top and cardigan sets and pencil skirts sound dated but they go hand-in-hand with lady-like.

Mix with satin cami dresses and waisted blazers for an ultra feminine look.

LEOPARD PRINT: This season 75% of the catwalk was leopard print, according to Tagwalk – a huge majority.

It crawled its way in last season but its rife for autumn and all over the high street, be it shoes or floor sweeping coats, it’s a must have trend.

FASHION FANS BEAM

This is dreamy

Whilst some fashionistas thought it would be perfect for looking stylish at Christmas, many expressed their desire to nab it quickly.

One person said: “It’s giving Christmas Day vibes.”

Is supermarket fashion the new high street?

DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:

The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.

Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.

Asda’s clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.

So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?

Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it’s good quality too – with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.

A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.

Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.

Another added: “Love this set.”

A third commented: “Absolutely gorgeous!”

Whilst someone else beamed: “Need this!”

Not only this, but one fashion fan wrote: “This is dreamy.”
