Over 350 families return from Iran and Pakistan in 24 hours

0

The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation reported on Thursday that 358 Afghan families entered Afghanistan from Iran and Pakistan within 24 hours.

According to the report, 53 families returned from Pakistan through Torkham and Spin Boldak, and other families returned from Iran via the Pul-e-Abrishim and Islam Qala.

Recently, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan have intensified pressure and expulsions of Afghan migrants.

According to Taliban statistics, hundreds of people return to Afghanistan from Iran and Pakistan daily.

These migrants are mostly forcibly expelled in the majority of cases.

The ongoing forced expulsions of Afghan migrants from Iran and Pakistan are placing immense pressure on Afghanistan’s already strained resources and social services.

The large number of returning families daily indicates the severity of the situation, which could exacerbate existing humanitarian challenges.

Addressing the underlying causes of migration and providing support for returning families is crucial to stabilizing the situation and ensuring their reintegration into Afghan society.
