Alkem Laboratories has denied claims that its products Pan-D and Clavam 625 are of substandard quality. The company stated that an investigation revealed the samples flagged by the central drug regulatory authority were spurious and not manufactured by Alkem. Unique features and QR codes have been added to the packaging to distinguish genuine products.
