The darts star took to social media to respond to Germany‘s David Schlichting this week.

It came after Cullen had made his 100th EuroTour appearances at last weekend’s Hungarian Darts Trophy.

The RockStar was beaten in the first round in Budapest, losing 6-5 to Peter Wright on his milestone appearance.

He has previously criticised the number of ProTour events held outside the UK, which prompted Schlichting to take aim at his rival.

The 21-year-old, who has appeared in the Modus Super Series and PDC Europe Next Gen circuit, did not feature in Hungary.

However, he replied to an X post celebrating Cullen’s 100th event by writing: “Pretty impressive for a guy who loathes having to leave Lancashire.”

Despite supporting Manchester United and Wigan Warriors, Cullen is from Bradford in West Yorkshire and not Lancashire.

The world number 17 hit back by responding: “David, what is your problem with me?

“If you actually played top level darts you’d know exactly what I was referring to? But you don’t! You sit at home ‘praying’ I lose wishing u was in my shoes.

“Maybe aim higher than the Modus tour and someday I’ll see you on tour! Doubt it tho!”

Attempting to squash their beef, Schlichting replied: “Joe I’m just making fun, I’ve never prayed you lose in my life.

“In fact I’ve cheered you on in multiple matches you’ve lost before. You don’t need to take my s***posting this seriously.”

Cullen was having none of it, though, commenting: “Bull*** David. I’ve seen many tweets bad mouthing me, constant in fact!

“You don’t actually know me nor are you relevant at all. You’re just some guy trying to attract attention within darts when you’re actually massively irrelevant!

“I’ve bit my tongue long enough reading your (poo emoji).”

The 2022 Masters champion has three wins from his 100 EuroTour appearances, most recently at the Hungarian Darts Trophy two years ago.

He will be hoping to add a fourth this weekend at the Swiss Darts Trophy in Basel, where he faces Raymond van Barneveld in the first round on Friday.
