Leah Peters (‘Big Brother 26’) exit interview: Makensy’s decision to nominate her ‘will always hurt me’
Week 10 in the “Big Brother” house ended Thursday night, with Leah Peters going home first on the season’s only double eviction episode. Under Makensy Manbeck‘s reign as Head of Household, Leah was ousted in a 4-0 eviction vote over Angela Murray. The 26-year-old cocktail server from Miami, Florida became the 10th houseguest evicted from Season 26 and the third member of the jury.
“I feel pretty good, considering, but it’s a blessing to be here,” she told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview. When asked if Makensy made a mistake this week, Leah responded, “I do. I understand why she made her decision, but it will always hurt me. I would not have done the same.” But who would Leah have been most loyal to? Makensy or Angela? “I think it would have come down to it. I never like to plan out that far ahead or make final threes. If I had to pick one? I really don’t know. I love them both so much.”
For her final thoughts, Leah stated, “I’m so grateful to have this opportunity. It’s been a true dream just to be here.” Now Leah can head off to the jury house where her crush Quinn Martin awaits her along with T’Kor Clottey.
