Why Israel should accept Hezbollah's key cease-fire condition

Hezbollah is holding the Israeli citizens of the north (and its own citizens who have been displaced) hostage to a cease-fire in Gaza. While accepting the linkage of fronts is not easy, it's still the better path for Israel to take. Why?
