Power & authority come in way of checking spam on OTT platforms

DoT and Trai are struggling to curb spam and scams on OTT platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal. While WhatsApp is cooperating to some extent, there is little control over Telegram and Signal. Telcos are concerned as their measures do not work on these unregulated platforms.
