Vince McMahon documentary: WWE boss wants to introduce incest and pregnancy storyline angle with daughter Stephanie McMahon

New Delhi: As we all know, the boss of WWE is gonna release a documentary on Netflix which is ‘Mr.McMahon documentary’, the internet has gone crazy for the documentary and also listening to the headlines regarding a lawsuit against Vince McMahon by Janel Grant who was the former employee of the WWE. Ask someone who has been watching WWE for years to list some of the more risky, ill-thought-out, and in some cases downright disgusting angles they’ve seen play out and you’ll likely be listening to them list things for a while. However, fans are being reminded, or perhaps learning for the first time, about an angle that would have been one of, if not the most, controversial it ever aired thanks to Netflix’s Mr. McMahon documentary.

Talking about the series which are fans excited about, Netflix’s six-part docuseries on Vince McMahon has been shining a spotlight on a lot of things from WWE’s past that hardcore fans might have forgotten about and casual fans will be hearing about for the first time. That includes a time when Vince wanted to be the father of his own daughter’s baby in a WWE storyline. Stephanie was actually pregnant with Triple H’s baby at the time and Vince suggested to her that in WWE’s world, they tell the fans that he was the father.

If we speak about Vince McMahon for the series, there was a question whether it was true that he pitched the idea to Stephanie and the former chairman admits it. Stephanie immediately shot down the idea, at which point Vince came back and suggested her brother Shane be the storyline father instead. Vince was clearly very keen for an incestual angle involving members of his own family, including his actually pregnant daughter, to play out on WWE TV, but thankfully, that was a step too far for Stephanie.

WWE fans would be looking for fact checks and reality in the show, but they would have not known about – I certainly didn’t know about it until watching the doc – that Vince also tried to convince Stephanie and Triple H to get married live on WWE PPV. Stephanie said no to that too, and the way it’s framed in the docuseries is the Street Fight between Vince and Stephanie was a reaction to that. The match took place at No Mercy 2003 just six days before Stephanie and Triple H got married and to this day is still up there with one of the most uncomfortable matches I have ever seen.
