Eagles WR Britain Covey out 6 weeks with broken scapula

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Britain Covey told reporters Thursday that he will be sidelined for six weeks with a broken scapula.

Covey, 27, said he will not require surgery for the shoulder injury sustained during Sunday's victory at New Orleans.

Covey has seven catches for 34 yards and one punt return for 9 yards in three games this season.
