Moreau man found guilty in sexual assault case
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Moreau man was found guilty of sexual assault in Saratoga County Court late Wednesday afternoon. Michael Pelletier was convicted by a jury after a three-week trial.
In June 2024, Pelletier was arrested for allegedly violently assaulting a woman, both physically and sexually, inside his home on Selfridge Road with children present. The woman was treated for her injuries at Saratoga Hospital.
Pelletier was found guilty of:
- First-degree criminal sexual act (felony)
- First-degree sexual abuse (felony)
- Second-degree assault (felony)
- Third-degree assault (misdemeanor)
- Endangering the welfare of a child (misdemeanor)
Pelletier face up to 25 years in state prison. His sentencing is scheduled for December 4.
