Plenty of sunshine today, increasing clouds Friday
What We’re Tracking
- Patchy fog
- Nice weather for this weekend
- Tropical moisture stays east
Temperatures this morning are in the upper 40s and lower 50s under a clear sky. Once again, we will start off the day with some patchy fog. With light winds from the east and daytime heating, the patchy fog won't last long.
Certainly a chilly start in some spots as we continue this trend that we've seen of cooler mornings, but warmer afternoons. We will warm into the upper 70s to lower 80s by the afternoon.
Rain chances are limited for the next week or so. The tropical moisture from Hurricane Helene will most likely stay to our east, much like Hurricane Francine. We may see a few clouds, but we stay dry.
Temperatures will be pleasant for the week, meandering between the upper 70s and lower 80s. We are tracking our next frontal boundary arriving early next week. That'll cool us down into the lower to middle 70s.
