Male pedestrian, 59, killed in Elmwood Ave. hit-and-run

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A 59-year-old male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle around 11 p.m. Wednesday night on Elmwood Avenue between Hertel and Himan Avenues.

Police reported that the vehicle fled the scene after striking the pedestrian, but said they have located the vehicle while investigating the incident. The driver involved is still outstanding, per BPD.
