Kate Middleton's Brother James Gives Update on Her Cancer Diagnosis & How She's Doing

James Middleton, the younger brother of Princess Catherine of Wales, is giving an update on her cancer journey.

If you don’t know, back in March of 2024, the 42-year-old royal shared that she had been undergoing preventative chemotherapy for cancer. Just a few weeks ago, she announced she had completed her chemotherapy.

Now, her little brother is speaking out about how she’s doing.

“She’s doing okay,” he shared. “It’s not for me to share on her behalf, you know, how everything’s going. But she’s getting all the right support and focus that she needs. And like anything, it takes time to process.”

When the Princess announced she had been diagnosed with cancer, her brother posted on social media, “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too.”

In this new interview, James was asked about the caption he chose, saying, “I like the metaphor of climbing a mountain. It’s something that we’ve done as a family all of our lives. And you have to respect a mountain.”

The Middleton family is said to be very close, and have supported one another over the years.
