Uttar Pradesh unveils plan to boost rural tourism with 93 village homestays

The Uttar Pradesh government has unveiled a Rural Tourism Development Strategy to boost rural tourism. The plan includes developing tourism infrastructure and homestays in 93 villages initially. Key areas include Ayodhya, Varanasi, Lucknow, Devipatan, and Chitrakoot divisions. Training for tour guides and operators is also part of the initiative.
