Fatal Queensbury motorcycle crash under investigation

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Queensbury. The crash happened on September 22 around 5:32 a.m. on Interstate 87.

The motorcyclist, identified as Rodrigo Borges Da Silva, 41, of Fort Ann, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to troopers, an initial investigation determined the motorcycle was heading south when the driver failed to navigate a curve.

In result, the motorcycle left the road and struck a delineator, causing Borges Da Silva to be ejected from the motorcycle. Troopers say the crash is still under investigation.
