Privately-made firearm recovered in Troy arrest
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Police arrested a Cooperstown man on Monday after he was allegedly found in possession of a privately-made firearm. According to police, Jalah Wimberly, 22, was arrested for criminal firearm possession after they responded to a disturbance on Lincoln Avenue.
Police said when they responded to the disturbance call, Wimberly was found with an illegal and loaded firearm. Police added that they were able to make the swift arrest thanks to quickly collecting information from the area and taking a gun off the streets of Troy.
