WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is working with the Neodesha Police Department and the Wilson County Sheriff's Office after skeletal remains were found in Wilson County.
The KBI said the NPD requested its help around 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 24 after they located the remains in a pasture east of the 6500 block of Ottawa Rd. in Neodesha.
The KBI responded, and investigators confirmed the remains were human. An autopsy is scheduled. Positive identification may take longer than typical cases due to the condition of the remains.
An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to call the KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME.
