Tottenham send scouts to watch 18-year-old Premier League starlet

According to HITC, Tottenham sent scouts to the South Coast to watch Southampton starlet Tyler Dibling in action against Ipswich Town last weekend.

Who is Tyler Dibling?

After impressing in pre-season, Dibling has broken into Southampton’s first-team at the start of the campaign and the winger looks at home in the Premier League despite being just 18 years of age.

It is asserted that the versatile attacker has caught the attention of a number of top clubs in the Premier League, including Spurs.

In fact, representatives from the North London club were allegedly at St Mary’s on Saturday to watch the Dibling in action against Ipswich, with the teenager netting his first senior goal as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Spurs have competition for Tyler Dibling

Tottenham are not the only ones eyeing a move for the Saints academy graduate, who is also said to be on the radars of Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Brighton and West Ham.

With the youngster being contracted to Southampton until 2026, the outlet adds that Russel Martin’s side are not under any pressure to sell the player for the time being.

Spurs already have some talented young attackers in and around their squad in Will Lankshear, Jamie Donley, Mikey Moore, Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine.

Given Tottenham’s transfer policy under Postecoglou and Lange of securing the best emerging young talent, it does not come as a surprise that the Lilywhites are at the front of the queue for Dibling.

However, with the 18-year-old getting regular minutes under his belt at Southampton, he will likely not be in a hurry to leave the club.
