Southampton ready to offer teenager new contract as Spurs circle

According to TBR Football, Southampton are keen to hold talks with Tyler Dibling over a new deal as Tottenham and other Premier League clubs plot moves for the winger.

Tyler Dibling is catching the eye this season

Dibling has been one of the finds of the season so far, with the 18-year-old breaking into the Saints starting eleven and catching the eye with his energetic displays.

It was reported by GiveMeSport recently that Tottenham were one of the clubs who sent scouts to watch the teenager in action against Ipswich on Saturday, with the youngster finding the back of the net for his side.

The report claimed that the likes of Man Utd, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, and West Ham were also watching the Southampton star’s situation.

Southampton want to tie Dibling to a new deal

TBR Football have also backed up the interest of these clubs in Dibling but they reveal that a few more sides are also in the running, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Brentford.

They reveal that the versatile attacker is also attracting attention from abroad, with Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Monaco and Marseille among the interested parties.

Finally, the publication adds that Southampton are due to hold talks with Dibling over a new deal in the coming weeks, with the South Coast club keen to reward the youngster for his progress.

A few clubs will likely reach out to Dibling’s representatives to advise against signing a new contract and express their interest – maybe Tottenham included.

However, given that the youngster appears to be getting regular game time with Russel Martin’s men, he would likely be open to signing an extension.
