Spurs player suffers yet more bad luck with injuries out on loan
Manor Solomon is having bad luck with injuries once again, with the winger reportedly not fit for Leeds’ clash against Cardiff City on Saturday.
Solomon has made a good start to loan spell
After missing nearly the entirety of last season due to a knee injury, Solomon will be keen to get his career back on track during his spell at Elland Road – on loan from parent club, Spurs.
The winger will be desperate to showcase his qualities and he has certainly done that in his first two outings for the Championship side against Hull City and Burnley, picking up an assist in the former.
However, Solomon’s momentum was halted as he was unable to take the field for Leeds’ 2-0 win away at Cardiff.
On-loan Tottenham man has a back problem
According to Football.London, it was a back problem that prevented the 25-year-old from making the trip to Wales over the weekend.
The report does not provide any updates on the nature of the injury but states that the attacker is hoping to be in contention for next week’s clashes against Norwich and Sunderland, which suggests that the injury is not particularly serious.
Solomon’s dreadful 12 months
The Israel international’s career was on a massive upward trajectory until a little over a year ago but his progress has been severely halted by a series of injuries at Tottenham.
However, with the latest injury being a back problem rather than the recurring knee problem that has affected Solomon in the past, it does not sound like there is anything to be too alarmed about.
