Sweden 'not considering' extending three-month deadline for laid-off work permit holders

The Swedish government is monitoring the Northvolt layoffs, but is not looking at extending the period a work permit holder may be unemployed, a spokesperson told The Local. But an EU directive could change things in the long-term future.
