Southwest Offering Major Deals for 'Friends' Anniversary
Southwest Airlines is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Friends by helping you and maybe some of your real-life friends get away somewhere this fall.
The airline just announced a new partnership with Warner Bros. to commemorate the series premiere of the hit sitcom on Sept. 22, 1994. From now through Sept. 26, Southwest is running a Friends-themed sale on tickets with up to 30 percent off base fares using the promo code "FRIENDS." The discount applies for any travel between Oct. 24, 2024 and Jan. 31, 2025.
"This Friends-themed fare sale is for everyone—whether you're 'on a break' and flying solo or have a special 'lobster' you're flying with and want to book another getaway," Southwest marketing vice president Jennifer Bridie said in a statement. "Our flexible policies, such as no change or cancel fees, allow our customers to 'pivot' their plans, and we'll be 'there for you' to help you book your next trip."
