Celebrate SURFER's New Issue With Collector's Box

When we decided to put 11-time world champion Kelly Slater on the cover of SURFER, we knew it was going to be something special. Because it’s been a hot minute since a print issue graced newsstands (almost five years, to be exact), we figured we should celebrate the occasion with a special-edition collector’s box. 

The issue features a thoughtful reflection from Slater, looking back at a lifetime in the surf; an articulate essay from five-time world champ and Olympic gold medalist Carissa Moore, who delves into her experiences growing up in Hawaii and how the current crop of young women surfers inspire her; current world No.1 Caity Simmers steps to the mic in her first official SURFER interview; we talk surfboards with builders Ryan Burch and Bryce Young; and survey the current state of big-wave surfing, slabs and all. What’s In the SURFER Collector’s Box?

The limited-edition box, featuring art from the cover, is stunning in and of itself, but it’s what’s inside that’s really rad.
