Maharashtra rain: Schools and colleges to remain closed on Thursday due to heavy rain, announces BMC

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 25 (ANI): In wake of the 'red alert' issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), schools and colleges will remain closed, said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Also, BMC has advised people of the city to only step out of their homes if required.
