CAG assumes chairmanship of Asian audit body, promises greater tech focus

India's Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has taken over as chair of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) for 2024-27. The 16th ASOSAI assembly in Delhi focused on enhancing cooperation among regional audit bodies, with a special emphasis on technology-driven audits and addressing the digital divide.
