Furious MAFS fans slam bride Richelle as a ‘red flag’ as she cruelly snubs ‘vulnerable’ husband
MARRIED At First Sight UK fans have accused one bride of being a “red flag” after she snubbed her husband during an emotional talk.
Richelle urged Orson to “get over” a previous heartache after he confided in her on their honeymoon.
Fans of the E4 series were left disgusted at her stark remarks.
One took to X and said: “Richelle is gaslighting that guy needs to get as far away from her quick…..red flag”.
Another furious viewer penned: “Richelle on #mafsuk is displaying some massive red flags and a severe lack of empathy.
“Your husband isn’t someone to be mocked, he’s someone to support”.
One more said: “Imagine going on a show to get married then start to freak out when your husband wants to be vulnerable and tell you about his past”.
It came as groom Orson Nurse, 41, candidly opened up on being cheated on five years ago.
The former cricketer decided to open up to bride Richelle during their picture-perfect Maldives getaway.
As they headed out for dinner, he was candid about his past heartache in a chat about how Richelle, 48, liked to be loved.
Project engineer Orson admitted: “I thought I was in love.
“I was in love – I try not to go back to that place again because every time I do you know those feelings come back to me.”
Not missing a beat, his bride snapped: “When, when?”
He replied: “You know five years ago.”
In a piece to camera, Richelle made a series of cutting remarks, leaving fans baffled by her lack of empathy.
She said: “If you can’t get over being cheated on five years ago then pfft.
“What the hell. Five – do you know how long five years is?”
The camera then panned back to the pair’s dinner date discussion, which saw her ask: “It’s still lingering right, yeah?
“Any of my previous heartaches they are so far gone.”
Later in the episode, Richelle admitted she didn’t find his heartbreak attractive and didn’t want a “sob story.”
But Richelle also appeared to be struggling with her own emotions.
Convinced Orson was “faking” his feelings she seemingly quit the show as she stormed off – telling the camera crew: “I think we are done here.”
The businesswoman walked away from her groom and Orson entered the first dinner party of the series on his own.
He explained to Alex: “She just needs some time.
“On the honeymoon I said to this girl, I’m getting feels. She felt that was too much too early.
“She literally left. I’m not sure if I’ll see her tonight. I’m holding onto this little bit of hope.”
