Mum fed up of having no storage shows how she totally transforms her wardrobe & gets LOADS more neatly in with a £3 buy
A MUM has been praised after sharing a genius hack to get loads more in her wardrobe for just £3.
Gemma Bird, aka Money Mum, took to her TikTok page to share the clever trick, which she figured out when she needed to fit more in her wardrobe.
With Gemma demonstrating as she hung five kids’ jumpers on hers[/caption]In the video, she explained that “all you need is a cable tie”.
She then showed how she attached the cable tie around the top of the hanger, repeating it all the way down – making a chain of sorts.
Then, you can use the cable tie loops to put hangers on, top to bottom.
She demonstrated by hanging five kids’ jumpers on the loops.
“Save money on storage space,” Gemma wrote in the video caption.
“All you need is cable ties!!
“This is sooo easy to do.
“Thought it might be helpful if running out of space, or paying out for storage.
“This is a cheap and easy idea!”
And considering you can get a pack of 100 cable ties for just £3.34 online, the hack definitely won’t break the budget.
People were quick to comment on the TikTok, with one writing: “Good idea!”
“Just be careful with easy pull fabrics,” they added.
Gemma is known for sharing money-saving tips and tricks on her social media pages.
And as a mum herself, she often posts parenting hacks.
In another recent TikTok, Gemma shared a video explaining one of her favourite free hacks, as she and her son went out for a bike ride.
“What about if one day, you just got up and out?” she wrote over the top of the caption.
