Complainant takes stand in Jacob Hoggard’s sexual assault trial

The woman who accused former Hedley frontman Jacob Hoggard of sexual assault testified on Tuesday as the trial began in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario. Both sides agree a sexual encounter occurred, but prosecutors seek to prove the complainant did not consent.
