Canada-based Bangladeshi minorities protest against treatment back home

Thousands of Bangladeshi minorities in Canada gathered in Ottawa to protest against the violence faced by minorities in Bangladesh. Nine Canadian MPs attended, expressing solidarity and urging the Canadian government to protect human rights. A memorandum was handed over to the Bangladesh High Commission highlighting political instability and targeted violence.
