GE Aerospace works on making engines more flexible, fungible: Senior official

GE Aerospace's GEnx engines have achieved two million flight hours with South Asian airlines, mainly Air India. The company is enhancing engine flexibility for extreme conditions and uses AI for predictive maintenance. Air India plans to add more Boeing 787s powered by these engines, boosting their use in the region.
