Dr Jay Varma, the former Covid-19 czar of New York City, has been dismissed from SIGA Technologies following revelations of his participation in drug-fuelled sex parties during the pandemic. Secret recordings disclosed his attendance at underground raves and hosting events while NYC was under lockdowns. He admitted to attending two private gatherings between April 2020 and May 2021.
