Bethany recently decided to visit Turkey to get cosmetic surgery.

After hearing the horrible news, Bethany’s boyfriend Daniel Osborne rushed to be at her hospital bedside.
Unfortunately things only got worse as the Platt family soon discovered Bethany hadn’t told her travel insurance company about the surgery.
This meant she would have to pay extortionate hospital bills in order to be discharged.
Bethany’s mum Sarah also got an urgent flight out to Turkey, but upcoming episodes will see her struggle to make headway with her daughter’s tricky financial situation.
Sarah will be seen speaking to the CEO of the cosmetic surgery company, insisting that they should be the ones paying for Bethany’s hospitalisation.
Although he does offer to cover Sarah’s accommodation in Turkey, the businessman is quick to let the mum know that Bethany signed a consent form ahead of her liposuction which means she is responsible for the fallout.
After hearing the terrible news back at home in Weatherfield, Bethany’s grandmother Gail proposes a dramatic shake up.
She suggests selling her house in order to raise the cash for Bethany’s medical bills.
Shocked, her son David points out that they will be homeless if she makes that decision.
Daniel steps in and offers to use some of Bertie’s trust fund money to get Bethany safely home.
But Ken is not in favour of the idea.
Which Platt family member will end up making a big sacrifice for Bethany’s sake?
And will she survive the trip back to the UK if they do get the funds for her treatment?
