Voters approve Averill Park CSD capital improvement project
AVERILL PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Averill Park Central School District passed its capital project after a vote. The nearly $40 million plan calls for renovations at all of the district's schools and the bus garage.
Changes include new high school locker rooms, new carbon monoxide alarm systems, complete PA system replacement at all schools, and more.
The plan does call for tax increases. The project passed with just over 59 percent of the votes being yes.
