Man arrested, booked for July murder in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A 27-year-old man was arrested and booked for murder in connection to a July shooting in Portland's Lloyd District.
Just after 6 a.m. on July 28, gunfire brought police to an area near Northeast 6th Avenue and Northeast Holladay Street. Officers found Jacob Forrest already dead on the sidewalk.
No suspects were immediately identified publicly, but on Tuesday Portland police arrested Cresencio Flores. He was taken to the Multnomah County Jail and is being held for second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon.
No other information is available at this time, but the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Portland police.
