Guardians lock up first-round bye by beating Reds

Tanner Bibee allowed one run over seven strong innings while Kyle Manzardo hit a solo homer and Lane Thomas added a two-run shot as the Cleveland Guardians clinched a first-round bye in the playoffs with Tuesday night's 6-1 win over the visiting Cincinnati Reds.

Thomas totaled three RBIs, and Josh Naylor had two hits and two RBIs for the AL Central-champion Guardians (91-67).
