Paige Spiranac Gushes on Passionate Comic Books Hobby

Golf influencer Paige Spiranac is best known for her social media videos highlighting her skills on the golf course or her many Halloween costumes, but besides her sport, Spiranac has long had another love: Comic books. 

In a Sept. 23 Q&A on her Instagram Stories, Spiranac spoke about her love for comics and how she's been a fan of reading them throughout her life. During her college years at San Diego State University, she even frequented the local comic book store, but as she's gotten older, she's had less time to dedicate to reading them. 

"I don't get to pursue this hobby as much as I used to, but I used to love comic books," Spiranac confessed. "There was a comic book store in San Diego and I would go all the time, and I just don't get to invest into that as much anymore because I am so busy."

These days, Spiranac's focus is on the sports world at large. 

"I just love sports. I really am a sports fanatic, and so it's great that my job can incorporate sports because I love watching every sport. I love learning about different athletes. It's just something that I've always really been interested in and so now it's great that I get to talk about sports 24/7," she said. 

Earlier this year, Spiranac spoke out in support of breakout women's basketball star Caitlin Clark and blasted other women athletes who seek to tear down other women's accomplishments. Clearly Spiranac's love of sports and athletes doesn't discriminate by sport or by gender.
