‘Survivor 47’ sneak peek video: Anika calls Andy a ‘toxic clingy boyfriend’ [WATCH]
In this week’s “Survivor 47” sneak peek video (watch above), Andy Rueda is back to chopping coconuts, but this time around, his fellow Gata tribe members are actually cheering him on. (Recall that he publicly complained about their lack of positive affirmation toward him in the season premiere.) While most of the preview clip focuses on the tribe’s newfound love for the 31-year-old AI research assistant from Brooklyn, New York, Anika Dhar later takes over the narrative and spills the tea on Andy.
“It’s very obvious that Andy needs words of affirmation,” Anika declares in a private confessional. “I’ve met a variety of different kinds of men on dating apps. And specifically for Andy, you can just tell it’s giving toxic clingy boyfriend.” Yikes!
Prior to the start of the show, the 26-year-old marketing manager from Los Angeles, California opened up a bit more about her love life. “On dating apps, one of my prompts is, ‘I’m convinced that I can with Survivor,'” Anika stated. “And I’ve been collecting all the different responses of all these different men. ‘You’re not gonna win if I’m on the show,’ or, ‘You really think you’re gonna win?’ If you doubt my skill set, red flag. If you’re mentioning players like [Parvati Shallow] and [Boston Rob Mariano] to me, green flag.”

In a second sneak peek video for Season 47, Episode 2 (watch below), Rome Cooney can’t stop bragging to his fellow Lavo tribe mates about how fast he is at making fire. “I think Rome is a showman,” Kishan Patel realizes. “That’s what he does for a living. He’s a commentator. He has a bucket list he came in with. He wants to make the fire. He wants to be the one finding the idol. He loves the big, flashy moves.”
The 28-year-old emergency room doctor from San Francisco, California continues on, “My strategy is completely the opposite of that. I think the more low key you are, the better, because you skate under the radar.” Kishan then tries to make the fire and succeeds within seconds. “Besides, he didn’t make the fire, I made the fire,” he proudly remarks in a private confessional.
The second episode of “Survivor 47” is titled “Epic Boss Girl Move” and will air on Wednesday, September 25 on CBS.
