Braves 3B Austin Riley (hand) won't return in 2024

Atlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley's broken right hand has not healed sufficiently to enable his return this season.

Manager Brian Snitker announced Tuesday that a CT scan revealed it is too early to remove Riley's cast, ending his year.
