Delivery of 200 Vande Bharat sleeper coaches likely to get delayed

The arrival of 200 sleeper variant Vande Bharat trains may be delayed due to ongoing negotiations on design changes and train length. The Indian Railways is seeking 24-coach trains without cost escalation. Kinet Railway Solutions and a BHEL-TRS consortium are involved in the contract, but work on prototypes has yet to begin.
