Amid uneasy ties, EAM S Jaishankar meets Bangladesh's foreign adviser

External affairs minister S Jaishankar met Bangladesh's foreign affairs adviser Touhid Hossain to discuss bilateral ties amid tensions following the ouster of Sheikh Hasina's government. The meeting took place during the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Anti-India sentiments and attacks on minority communities have been rising in Bangladesh since Hasina's departure.
