‘I’m obsessed’ gasps football WAG as she finds the best autumn jacket dupe in Tesco that’s £50 cheaper than Zara and M&S
A FASHION fanatic has hailed a bargain Tesco jacket as the best dupe for M&S’s £90 autumn staple – and it’s £50 cheaper.
Ellie Butler is the childhood sweetheart of Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw who returned to the Scottish club this season after a loan spell at Wigan Athletic.
She regularly shares her shopping hauls and outfit tips with her army of followers on social media.
Unsurprisingly, her dressing room is packed with designer handbags, jewellery and footwear.
But the down-to-earth WAG still loves to hit the high street and her local supermarket for fashion buys too.
In a recent video, the newly engaged blonde beauty bagged an autumn must-have in Tesco.
The supermarket’s F&F borg faux shearling aviator jacket is priced at just £39.50.
With black lining and buckle details across the bottom, the pale cream jacket is very similar to £90 versions being sold by both M&S and Zara.
Size 10 footie WAG Ellie bagged hers in an XL for the oversized look.
Trying it on at home, she said: “I saw one of these in Marks and Spencer and it was gorgeous but it was £90.
“Then I went into Tesco the other day and they had this.
“I would say this is pretty much the same. I don’t know if the other one’s maybe a tiny bit more beige and this is more white but it was £39.50.”
She added: “I’ve got mine in an extra large and I think this is gorgeous.
“This will be so nice with leggings, with Uggs, you can style it so many different ways because of the black contrast coming through.
“You know I love my jackets to be really big and oversized. I probably don’t need to go to an extra large but I want to layer things.
“I want hoodies underneath this when it’s cold and I think this is incredible for £39.50 as well.
“What the hell? How is it that cheap when it’s so thick and really nice quality.
“It’s got pockets. I’m actually obsessed with it. I think it looks so expensive, people think you’d be wearing the Marks and Spencer one and you’ve got a little dupe.”
And her fellow fashion fans are just as keen to pick up the cheap autumn buy.
“I am running to Tesco”, vowed one.
“I don’t think I’ve ever bought myself any clothing from Tesco before. That will be changing today!”
A second simply wrote: “Need.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “Love the cream jacket…surprised how lovely the Tesco clothing was.”
Vlogger Ellie has been with her football ace beau since before his time at Celtic.
Liam proposed to girlfriend Ellie during a holiday to Jamaica in May.
The childhood sweethearts got together when Liam was on the books at Sheffield Wednesday.
His time at Celtic hasn’t quite worked out on the pitch, with the 23-year-old having only played two games for the club since signing under Ange Postecoglou in 2021.
He had loan stints at Motherwell and Morecambe in previous seasons and despite the upheaval, he and Ellie have grown stronger.
Sharing news of their engagement accompanied by a pic of her huge diamond ring on social media, smitted Ellie said: “Always and forever.
