Blind Tiger hosting Oktoberfest pop-up, what to know
TOPEKA (KSNT) - A local restaurant and brewery is setting up a special Oktoberfest pop-up party this weekend with plenty of German-style food and beer to choose from.
Topekans are invited to visit the Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant from Friday, Sept. 27 to Sunday, Oct. 6 for their Pop-Up Oktoberfest Celebration. People can expect to find plenty of German beer, food, decorations and music during this 10-day period.
Customers who visit Blind Tiger for the celebration can enjoy multiple different styles of beer produced at the brewery in iconic German glassware including glass German beer boots. These include the following:
- Oktoberfest
- Maibock
- Zwickel Maibock
- Munich Dunkles
- Basil beer
- Capital City Kolsch
- Blond Tiger Bock
- Hefeweizen
- Smokey the Beer
- Overall Obsession Helles
Multiple food specials are also being offered during the celebration that takes inspiration from German traditions. These include the following:
- Giant German soft pretzels.
- Schweine schnitzel.
- German bratwurst.
- German potato salad.
- Black forest cake.
