Here’s Every Air Jordan Sneaker Releasing in October
With October quickly approaching, it appears that it will be a month dominated by the Air Jordan 1.
Just five Air Jordan releases have been confirmed for the first full month of fall, and four of them are either the high- or low-top version of the seminal Jordan sneaker. Aside from a pair of Lows dedicated to Howard University, the lineup is made up of new twists on original colorways. Jordan Brand plays with its history through an Air Jordan 1 Low featuring an original colorway from the Air Jordan 1 High for the first time, another OG Air Jordan 1 High colorway getting a material swap and yet another Air Jordan 1 High now appearing with branding that had previously been limited to samples.

Air Jordan 1 Low “Metallic Black”

One of seven colorways for the Air Jordan 1 High’s 1986 original “Metallic” series, “Metallic Black” now brings its simple but clean look to the low-top for the first time.
Air Jordan 1 High “Satin Shadow”

Another riff on an original colorway comes as the Air Jordan 1 High “Shadow” switches from leather two satin just like last year’s “Bred Satin” release. The outsole has also been switched from black to grey.
Air Jordan 4 “Orchid”

This Air Jordan 4’s new pink suede treatment will release exclusively in women’s sizes and will end at a women’s size 12 (equivalent to a men’s 10.5) prevent those with larger feet from wearing it.
Air Jordan 1 Low “Howard University”

Coming two years into Jordan Brand’s 20-year partnership with Howard University, this Air Jordan 1 Low uses the same red and blue colorblocking as a suede Air Jordan 1 Low previously made exclusively for athletes at the HBCU.

Before the Wings logo, the Air Jordan 1’s collar was stamped with a more straightforward “Air Jordan” wordmark that was previously only seen in samples. Now the public gets its first chance to purchase the iconic sneaker in its early form.
