Meet Indian netball and basketball star and TV actress who SIZZLED at Chris Gayle’s ‘40 Shades’ party, says Universe Boss personally…
Former West Indies and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Chris Gayle celebrated his 45th birthday in style at his club ‘40 Shades of Gayle’ in Ochos Rios in Jamaica this week. Gayle called his birthday bash ‘40 Shades of Gayle’ 5.0 and it also had Indian attraction there.
We are talking about Indian netball and basketball star turned TV actress Prachi Tehlan. The 30-year-old shared that she was personally invited by the ‘Universe Boss’ for his birthday party.
Prachi, who is known for her elegance and successful crossover between sports and entertainment, embraced the party atmosphere in Jamaica brilliantly. “Chris personally invited me for his birthday. I had gone to support his foundation as well,” Prachi, who was the former captain of the India national netball team that represented India in the 2010 Commonwealth Games, told IANS news agency.
After her sporting career got over, Prachi made her acting debut on the Indian TV screen with the series ‘Diya aur baati Hum’ on Star Plus back in January 2016. She has also starred in a Punjabi movie – ‘ Arjan’ – opposite Roshan Prince in 2017.
Prachi was the captain of Indian team in 2011 South Asian Beach Games in Sri Lanka, where India bagged a silver medal – the country’s first ever medal at the international level. She was the brand ambassador of Netball Development Trust India from 2011 to 2017.
A Delhi girl, Prachi graduated wit B.Com (Hons.) from Jesus & Mary College in New Delhi before getting her MBA in HR and marketing from GGSIP University. Prachi shared videos and pictures from Chris Gayle’s lavish home in Jamaica as well.

Reflecting on the day, Prachi said, “Chris knows how to throw a party like no other! The vibrant energy, the irresistible jerk chicken, the beats of Jamaican music, and the colourful vibes made it an unforgettable celebration. Every moment was pure joy!”
Meanwhile, the former West Indies captain, who is renowned for his extravagant lifestyle and love for parties, turned 45 on September 21. Gayle, who has 15 Test tons, is one of the four batters in the world to score two triple hundreds in Test matches.
In his T20I career, Gayle played 79 matches, amassing 1,899 runs at an average of 27.92 and a strike rate of 137.50, including 124 sixes. He has 10,480 runs in 301 matches with 25 centuries. He is the second highest scorer in ODIs for the West Indies, following fellow left-hander Brian Lara, whose scored 10,348.
